The donkeys are making steady progress with their new coats. Most of them seemed quite relaxed today, calmly adjusting in the paddock. Clarissa wasn’t fitted this time, simply because the group was outside but when needed, she can easily be brought in. The team is focused on keeping the atmosphere calm, helping the donkeys grow comfortable in their coats while ensuring the horses accept them without chasing. Each small step brings the herd closer to harmony, showing patience

Escadore stepped into the arena with calm confidence today. With a light touch and gentle guidance, he followed beautifully, moving forward and backing up with ease. His quiet strength and trust made the moment feel effortless. It’s in these small exercises that the bond between horse and handler shines — patient, respectful, and full of understanding. Watching Escadore respond so gracefully reminds us how special these connections truly are.

Today our horses enjoyed a special treat, we took them next door where the grass is greener, and they couldn’t be happier. With tails swishing and heads down in the fresh pasture, they spent the day grazing peacefully and soaking up the sunshine. It’s always wonderful to see them relaxed, content, and truly living their best life. Moments like these remind us how simple joys bring the greatest happiness. Our horses are truly living their best life. Today we took them next door, where they could stretch out on the green grass and soak up the gentle winter sun.
